    The eba Theater, together with Amplify Albany and local Lark Street businesses, is excited to announce the 2nd in our series of benefit concerts. We are hosting a series of dance music concert fundraisers to continue the eba all ages community dance programs to bring more people to the Lark Street community in conjunction with Albany 1st Friday’s. Two local surf rock bands, Sun Natives and Kimono Dragons, will provide the music in the beautiful 100-year-old theater. No shoes are allowed on the dance floor, so bring your best socks! There will be a shoe and coat check provided for free. Water will also be provided. Leave your coat and shoes at the door and get ready to dance to some rockin tunes!

    Specials and coupons given out for some of the great Lark St. neighborhood restaurants and businesses. This is a substance and alcohol free event. No food or drink in the Theater. Water only! This event is entry by donation, so please give what you can. Any amount is the right amount! Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.

    This event is made possible in part by Capitalize Albany Corporation's Amplify Albany Grant Program. Funding for the grant program is provided by the City of Albany's Capital Resource Corporation.

    In conjunction with the current exhibit, 'Gravity & Light: Caroline Ramersdorfer | Sculpture, 1985-2016,' we'll be screening 'Caroline's Rock', a 44-minute documentary directed by Jim Elderton, that looks at the challenges the artist faced over funding and installation of a sculpture outside the Performing Arts Centre in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.
    In addition, the gallery is open until 7 p.m.
